Okay, let’s just get this all out of the way at one time.

Not that it matters or anything--it really doesn't matter--but I don't meet too many guys in the fandom who are super intelligent like you, so that's cool. " -Sexist Anon As a "guy in the fandom" I have to say, I'm slightly offended by this comment. First, there ARE men in this fandom, lots in fact! Second, why would we be...

I really enjoy it, and you've helped me understand more about the show than I ever thought I could. :)

sherlockology:
Just coming down the news wires, the High Court has rejected the decision that led to the granting of planning permission for the redevelopment of Undershaw.
In effect, it means a success for the Save Undershaw campaign, and the building will not be converted into flats.
More as we get it.

Some additional answers for the Anon who asked about Sherlock and Facebook are below.
Meanwhile, I’ll just continue to develop my ingenious new social network designed exclusively for men who only have one friend. (It will be called Hydrogents.com and the logo will be a hydrogen atom. Possibly wearing a top hat. I’m still working out the details, but feel free to send your investment...

Anonymous asked: I don't know if you've covered this yet, ut maybe Sherlock's OOC moment was not checking to make sure Moriarty was dead? I mean, he's a skeptic, and usually very thorough, so... maybe? Or is this just stupid? :X

amygaffigan asked:
I don’t know if this was already brought up, but don’t you think that a way Sherlock was acting out of character would have been how he was “stumped”? Moriarty seemed to have the upper-hand, but Sherlock played dumb to get the truth out of him. When he finally decides to return from the dead, he’d have all the proof that he needed to clear his...

marynroos asked: Thanks for answering my previous question! All good points I hadn't considered (hence why I asked!) New idea: I haven't seen this discussed (maybe for good reason), but was thinking about the rubber ball. What if the ball was not to cut off Sherlock's circulation to his arm but thrown down to confirm for those below where to set up the "cushion"? They'd have had no...

taikova asked: About the squash ball theory, I find it very probable, and clever. Could it be that, since the pulse is missing from his right hand, and he squeezes Jim's hand with the pulseless hand, Jim noticed this and he realized Sherlock's plan (whatever it is) before he shoved the gun into his mouth? Perhaps he planned to kill himself regardless of what happened on the roof, but do you think it...

Molly & Mycroft & Jim
[Note: This post is a combined response to the questions listed here.]
———
Is there any reason we assume the three gunmen were for John, Mrs. Hudson, and Lestrade rather than Molly or Mycroft?
We know the gunmen were for John, Mrs. Hudson, and Lestrade because that’s exactly what Jim and Sherlock discussed.
Jim: Let me give you a little extra incentive. Your friends...

My inbox has been collecting a lot of questions about why Jim didn’t have gunmen assigned to Molly or Mycroft at the end of Reichenbach.
I’m going to try something a little different this time and list all of those questions in this post. In the next post, I’ll attempt to condense the questions down to the main points and reply.

So I may have made a very strange noise out loud when I saw Andrew Scott won the BAFTA. A happy noise unknown to science.
It’s probably for the best that I didn’t open the list of winners in my rigged browser.
That might have killed me.
