The Final Problem

The Theory Index is now updated through February 21, 2012. Have fun with that.

I’ve added an About page, so the basic blog info can stay put instead of floating through the archive in pieces.

The Reichenbach A to Z master list has been updated with all submissions that I’m aware of at this time. If you wrote an A to Z post that isn’t there, it’s probably not showing up for me in the tag search. Submit your post directly to me, and I’ll add it.

I fought it for a long time, but the number of Asks in my inbox has officially passed 100. If you’ve sent me a question recently, there is a good chance you have a wait ahead of you. Sorry. I’m afraid I wasn’t kidding when I said on the About page that I’ve been writing this blog while half-asleep. I love you guys and I’m willing to continue to give up sleep for you, but I don’t have much else I can give up to make the answering of questions go any faster.

ASKS:

The asks are stacking up again. I will continue to do my best to answer as many as possible, but please understand that the theory I posted last night was the equivalent of rearranging all the furniture in my mind palace. I am still accidentally banging my knee on the coffee table because I don’t expect it to be there when I cross the room. So if you sent me a question that asked for a lot of detail or that required me to do outside reading, it may sit in my inbox for just a little bit while I allow myself to get used to the new mental layout. That doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten you. (And if it gets to be long enough that you think maybe I didn’t get your message, you can resend and I won’t judge you. Promise.)

REICHENBACH A TO Z:

Submissions are still coming in, and I’ve continued to add them to the master list. If you’d like your A to Z theory added to the list, let me know.

I’ve been pretty diligent in adding the submissions to the list, but I can’t promise that I’m able to read every theory fully the second I add it to the list. (How does Moffat do it? I don’t watch Dr. Who, but I’m assuming his amazing ability to read every theory ever has something to do with that funny blue box.*) So if there’s some aspect of your A to Z you’d specifically like my feedback on, let me know in an ask.

YOUR SWEET NOTHINGS:

Thank you to the people who have contributed to the How Much Nothing Can You Find? effort so far. I see this as more of a long-term effort (we have a year to kill), so I plan to give it a little time to see what you come up with and then do a post that talks about several of your ideas. Again, if you really want my opinion on something sooner: ask.

SOCK THEORY INDEX:

I know this needs to happen. Tumblr is good for some things, but it is not good for letting a person who just found this blog easily figure out if I’ve already discussed something they’re wondering about. I need to put links to all my main theories on one page for you, and attempt to sort them by subject. I’m working on it.

This is an excellent point about creating a master list, since tags can be buggy.

I’ve added a page just for Reichenbach A to Z, and your post is now included in the brand-new master list. (And I’m 100% with you on the that-was-really-Sherlock-falling thing, by the way.)
