Mycroft & Moriarty
This is how I’ve spent my night.
Reminder: This week’s story is The Greek Interpreter.
My sister and I are watching “A Scandal in Belgravia” And it’s at the end when Mycroft’s telling John that Irene’s dead, and he says “It would take Sherlock Holmes to fool me” and I love how my sister and I just look at each other and smirk like we’re sharing a secret.
The most dangerous man you’ve ever met, and not my problem right now.
“But initially, he wanted to be a pirate.”
Our interest’s on the dangerous edge of things.
The honest thief, the tender murderer,
The superstitious atheist. (“Bishop Blougram’s Apology”, Robert Browning)
All lives end. All hearts are broken.
“For goodness sake! I occupy a minor position in the British Government.”
Seems desperate for my attention, which I’m sure can be arranged.
